Hunter Hayes – Invisible lyrics
Crowded Hallways are the loneliest places for outcasts and rebels
Or anyone who just dares to be different
And you've been trying for so long
To find out where your place is
But in their narrow minds,
There's no room for anyone who dares to do something different

Oh, but listen for a minute

Trust the one who's been where you are wishing
All it was sticks and stones
Those words cut deep but they don't mean you're all alone
You're not invisible
Hear me out, there's so much more to life
Than what you're feeling now
Someday you'll look back on all these days
And all these pain is gonna be...
Invisible

Oh, invisible

So your confidence is quiet
To them quiet looks like weakness

But you don't have to fight it
Cause you're strong enough to win without the war

Every heart has a rhythm,
Let yours beat out so loudly

That everyone can hear it, yeah,
Promise you don't need to hide it anymore
Oh, and never be afraid of doing something different
Dare to be something more

Trust the one who's been where you are
Wishing all it was sticks and stones

Those words cut deep
But they don't mean you're all alone
You're not invisible
Hear me out, there's so much more this life
Than what you're feeling now
Someday you'll look back on all these days
And all these pain is gonna be... Invisible
Oh, invisible

These labels that they give you just 'cause they don't understand
If you look past this moment, you'll see you've got a friend
Waving a flag, for who you are, and all you're gonna do
Yeah, so here's to you and here's to anyone who's ever felt invisible

Yeah...
You're not invisible
Hear me out, there's so much more to life than what you're feeling now
Yeah, someday you'll look back on all these days and all these pain is gonna be... Invisible

It'll be invisible

I think this song wants to encourage those people that feels as if they are alone. There are so many people around us but that person feels as if there are no people around him/her. The place where that person is crowded but it seems that it is the loneliest place for the outcasts, rebels or anyone that dares to be different. They feel that they don't belong to the world they're in. So, those lonely persons tried to find out where they belong but there are really no room for them. Those person's confidence is quiet so people thinks that they are weak.

There are people that thinks as if the whole world was against them. Everyone hates them and so they feel that they don't have a friend. It is as if they are invisible and everyone can't see them. Because of the feeling of being invisible, they don't have much confidence and so people thinks that they are weak but the truth is they don't need to be full of confidence to prove that you are strong. Everyone always threw words that hurt them. Everyone just don't understand.

I, too, also felt invisible before. Everyone always thinks of me as a weakling but for me, being able to live life normally with problems that we try to solve is being strong. We don't give up is what makes us strong. If we keep on listening to those who thought of us as weaklings, if we're depressed with they're harsh words and we think that we trully are weak, then we are really weak. If you don't mind them and continue to live happily behind the problems that we struggled to solve, we are strong.

I guess there are really just moments in our lives that we feel so lonely ourselves, thinking that we are just the only one who is standing alone in the battlefield, when in truth, we actually have everything we really need to make us get through the obstacles that we see in our dimly lit paths. We have our friends, our friends that offer their hands to us when we need something to hold onto to help us stand back to our knees. We have our close ones, the only people that can see through us, and most of all, we have our loved ones, the people that matter to us the most, and apparently the only people that means everything to us.

Words hurt, and that's a fact. Their judgement stings, and that's the truth. Sometimes, we actually just wish that those were just stick and stones, knowing that if they can leave bruise, the pain would be lesser and it would be so much better than words leaving us with scars.

I was really depressed because I thought nobody was like me. Also, that days I was suffering a kind of bulling from my sister. She was always saying that I was fat (why I actually use a 4), she also was likely to say that she was ashamed of me and that she wishes I was different. Well, with this song I learned that being different isn't a bad thing, we are all different and I will always thank Hunter Hayes for let me see that. I wish everyone that has ever feel ashamed of himself realized that he/ she is perfect the way he or she is.

Its something about feeling very inferior from others. Its like, you haven't done anything yet, but you are already misunderstood and judged. Something like you don't have place in this world because you are not like them. And they think that you are not effective or qualified to their standards because apparently you are very different from where they've been. Its killing you, you wanted to quit because there's no use of fighting. And all you felt was being invisible. But, no. You are not invisible. Because God sees everything what others refused to see. I hope I can say it in myself because right now I feel so invisible.
