Linkin Park – In The End lyrics
It starts with love

One
thing,
I don't know why,
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind,
I designed this rhyme to explain in due time.
(All
I know)

Time is a valuable thing,
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day,
The
clock ticks life away.
(It's
so unreal)

Didn't
look out below,
Watch the time go right out the window.
Tried to hold on, but didn't even know,
I wasted it all just to
(Watch you go)

I
kept everything inside,
And even though I tried,
It all fell apart.
What
it meant to me,
Will eventually be,
A memory of a time?

[Chorus:]
I tried so hard,
And got so far.
But in the end,
It doesn't even matter!
I had to fall,
To lose it all.
But in the end,
It doesn't
even matter!

One thing,
I don't know why,
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind,
I designed this rhyme to remind myself how I
(Tried so hard)

In spite of the way you were mocking me,
Acting like I was part of your property
.
Remembering all the times you fought with me,
I'm surprised (It got so far)

Things aren't the way they were before,
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore.
Not that you knew me back then,
But it all comes back to me (In the end)

You kept everything inside,
And even though I tried,
It all fell apart,
What it meant to me will eventually be
A memory of a time when I

[Chorus:]
I tried so hard,
And got so far.
But in the end,
It doesn't even matter!
I had to fall,
To lose it all.
But in the end,
It doesn't even matter!

I've put my trust in you,
Pushed as far as I can go.
For all this,
There's only one thing you should know;

I've put my trust in you,
Pushed as far as I can go.
For all this,
There's only one thing you
should know.

[Chorus:]
I tried so hard,
And got so far.
But in the end,
It doesn't even matter!
I had to fall,
To lose it all.
But in the end,
It doesn't even matter!

"In the End" is a nu metal song written by Linkin Park from their debut album Hybrid Theory (2000). Its lyrics are mainly based on one person's failure. It is considered symbolic of an ending relationship. However it can also be symbolic of a long-lasting friendship's trust between one another that has gone away.
In the End is one of Linkin Park's most well known and successful songs, appearing in the top ten in most charts it appeared in, including a band high of number two on the Billboard Hot 100, in which it peaked on the week beginning March 19, 2002. The song first reached the Top 40 on December 4, 2001. It also reached number one on the Z100 Top 100 songs of 2002 countdown.

Man this is a good song! I think he's probably talkin about the jewish people and how they struggled so hard to live through the holocaust when Hitler was dictator. They tried so hard to escape but half a million jews died in concentration camps. Yal are probably wondering how I got that idea, well if you look carefully at the beginning of this video Chester (lead singer) walks out of this tumb or watever and there are jewish symbols on the door.

Most people think this song talks about everything that you do is worthless in the end, but its not, well atleast to me its not. Ill break it down,.
The first verse in this song tells of how life is to short to be wasted on useless things (drugs, meaningless s**, violence) because before you know it, your time will be up and what accomplishments can you say youve done then?
The second verse is about how you may be able to leave behind the sins in your past for a while, but in the end they all come back around and you truely pay for them,.
The chorus is what ties everything together, the meaning to it is that no matter what you achieve here on this earth, the single most important thing you had to of done is make the right choice in who you love, who you followed, thts were the line in the beginning ("It starts with love") comes from,.
So I hope I helped anybody looking for a meaning to this song.

I think this song has whatver meaning you want it to have for your own self.
To me its about a relationship where you put in everything you can and in the end it doesn't seem to matter to the other person, and as it says 'What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard' its about being forced to make a relationship a memory. And about the pain and injustice of it, you have 'to fall to lose it all'.

This is Hybrid Theory, guys. That means this is probably directed at his parents, at how they fought with him, they mocked him, but he still tried to go as far as he could, but it just didn't matter to them because they just wanted to see him fail. Most of the album's songs are like this.

Do you really understand what this song is about because let me tell ya'll like this it is mainly based on one person who had faliure friendships, relationships, because things like this won't go away so well when it always lead's to broken trust or lies also if you like and love that special someone who is really close to you don't let them go just keep them in your heart until your ready to decide because you already know that once's they leave your life, break up with you, or dump you by any chance, everything that you had with her will change you forever or it will never be the same again.

For me, I think this song is all about trying to get somewhere in your life and the people in it saying it doesn't matter or your not good enough. This is one song that I can really relate to and see the meaning of this song in my life. And thats what I love about songs, they do something to you that I can't explain. They can make you feel happy or they can make you sad ,but in the end they can heal your heart. So thats why I love this song its not like other songs that live in a fairyland , this song shows you real life's problems and make you feel like your not alone.

This song is about how he loved a girl, and "tried so hard". However, "it all comes back to me". Everything was blamed on him for the failed relationship. He explains in the song that he wrote it to explain it to others and remind himself of this "I designed this rhyme to explain in due time (All I know), I designed this rhyme to remind myself how I (Tried so hard). Sad song, really.
If you believe this, copy this above.

This song is about anyone’s situation throughout life how they feel, how they try, how they fail and how they do not.
Conditioning that has taken place in ones life over many years. Chasing carrots, rewards for a lot of effort only to one day lose those rewards if obtained.
Or an end of a relationship with someone that was bad for you or good for you depending on whom is dumping who.
Could be a relationship could be a job could be anything which is dependant of the persons mood and time of life when they are listening to the song and events in their live or life’s that are taking place or have already taken place.
A Black and white viewpoint song.

I think this song really stretches out the quote so close then yet so far because basically it's saying you have come so close to obtaining or achieving something, you risked everything and in the end your back where you started. I also think this song is sending the exact emotion of disappointment and confusion as if to why this set back has befallen on the protagonist. It seems also as of the musician wrote it as of he were talking to the one who had caused this horrid ending. I believe the song would be interesting if wrote from the antagonists point of view on the situation.

I think this song is about the end and how it doesn't matter but really if it didn't matter why did they make a song so then you start to think and you realize that the end does matter so this whole song is saying that in the end it doesn't matter but what they mean is that it does matter so there message is that in the end it doesn't really matter.
