Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics
Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught
in a landslide
No
escape from reality
Open
your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm
just a poor boy (Poor boy)
I need no sympathy
Because
I'm easy come, easy go
Little high, little low
Any
way the wind blows
Doesn't really matter to me, to me

Mamaaa just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mamaaa, life had
just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mamaaaaaa, ooooooooh
Didn't
mean to make you cry
If I'm not
back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

Too late, my
time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye, everybody
I've got to
go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mamaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, oooooooh (Anyway the wind
blows)
I don't want to die
Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

[Guitar Solo]

I see a little
silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me
(Galileo) Galileo (Galileo) Galileo, Galileo Figaro
Magnifico-o-o-o-o
I'm just a poor boy
nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

Easy come, easy go, will
you let me go?
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go
Let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go
Let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go
Let me go (Will not let you go)
Let me go (Will not
let you go) (Never, never, never, never)
Let me go, o, o, o, o
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
(Oh mama mia, mama mia)
Mama Mia, let me go
Beelzebub has the devil put aside for me, for me, for me!

So you think you can
stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here

[Guitar Solo]
(Oooh yeah, Oooh yeah)

Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me

Any way the wind blows

Well captian has a good interpretation, but I have another interpretation, well I think in a different way, if you lissent to the solo it sounds like in the end that he got excuted and in the opera it sounds like god and the devil are battling. And I notice that freddie say all arabic words like bishmillah it means in the name of allah. It sounds like he is praying to get out of hell then he sing a rock part that's maybe meant to the devil, and the last word nothing really matters anyone can see nothing really matters to me. Well it sounds like it is. As he said in the beginning I need no sympathy (he gave up the hope down there in hell) well that's my opinion my english isn't the best but believe what you think offered interpretation.

When I heard that song from the radio, curiosity came up to me so I search it in the internet and found that the song was totally wonderful! The performance that Queen did in this song was very unique and powerful. I wasn't born on the time when this song was topping the billboard charts but internet helped me to learn and realize such a good song like this. I love it! :)

Mercury refused to explain his composition other than saying it was about relationships; the band is still protective of the song's secret. Brian May supports suggestions that the song contained veiled references to Mercury's personal traumas. He recalls "Freddie was a very complex person: flippant and funny on the surface, but he concealed insecurities and problems in squaring up his life with his childhood. He never explained the lyrics, but I think he put a lot of himself into that song." May, though, says the band had agreed that the core of a lyric was a private issue for the composer. In a bbc Three documentary about the making of "Bohemian Rhapsody", Roger Taylor maintains that the true meaning of the song is "fairly self-explanatory with just a bit of nonsense in the middle.

Basically, it's about this son of a murderer who has been caught in a sack by some tribal chiefs. He's very confused about why he is in this sack, and doesn't know which way up he is. He wants to look at the sky but he can't coz his sack is in they way. He's sad coz his murderer mum won't know where he is coz he's in a sack. The sillhouetto bit is when the tribal chiefs who have abducted him start doing their tribal dance, the fandango, around the fire, and their shadows are dancing around the inside of his sack. They look weird and twisted, like beelzebub. He starts to panic and calls out to galileo to help him, for some unexplained reason. And bismillah is the war cry of the chiefs, as they refuse to let him go. Xdxdxdxdxd!
